FIRST CALL = 911

Provide your name and phone number

Provide the cottage address
directions from nearest major road/intersection

State the nature of your emergency 


SECOND CALL = WhatsApp Koshlong Emergency Notification Group

              To join this group, KENG member request

Your Fire CaptainRoad Captain and/or Cottage Watch Coordinator

Notify neighbours who may be in immediate danger, e.g. due to fire

THIRD: Use an emergency horn or whistle: 3-blast sequence means “Fire or life-threatening emergency!”

In Case of Fire: boat or drive to the nearest Fire Box and bring fire pump, hoses and ALL accessories to the location of the fire. Make sure you are wearing appropriate clothing.
