Effective 2016, the annual membership fee was increased to $45.
Your membership in the KLA will ensure that you receive a copy of our annual newsletter, Wavelength. We also welcome donations, should you wish to make one, as they help pay for social events and general expenses.
The KLA is now able to accept e-Transfers from your bank for the purpose of paying KLA Membership Dues.
Using Interac email transfers is very secure, very easy (once you are set up for online banking) and very quick. Most banks charge a $1.50 fee for sending money electronically. When a cheque is sent, members incur not only the cost of the cheque, envelope & stamp but the KLA are also charged for every cheque that we deposit. Email Money Transfers are convenient for our members and save the association both money and volunteer time.
The traditional method of printing and mailing the membership form is still available...just choose your preference below.
Note: Some Road Associations allow their members to pay their KLA annual fee through the road association. We would still appreciate it if you would return the form indicating any changes to your address information. If this is the case with your Road Association, please indicate below which Road Association is paying your KLA fee.
Please make all cheques payable to

Koshlong Lake Management Plan
The Final Edition of the Koshlong Lake Association Lake Management Plan had recently been completed and subsequently posted to the Koshlong Lake Association website by former board member Dennis Choptiany. We'd again like to take this opportunity to thank Dennis for the countless hours spent assembling the myriads of information and to those KLA members who were involved in providing valuable input to this project.

2014 Shoreline Classification Study Results
In 2014, 252 properties were assessed totaling about 34 km of shoreline on Koshlong Lake. The shoreline survey included an assessment of the entire shoreline of Koshlong Lake including: development, building setbacks, habitat, and identification of restoration opportunities, among other characteristics.
This report presents the data collected from each property into a lake level summary report on shoreline classifications, building setbacks, development (including structures and docks), retaining walls, erosion, aquatic cover, aquatic substrate, other shoreline observations, slope, lawns, and buffers. Our objective was that this data could be used by both the lake association and other partners to determine opportunities for restoration, education and stewardship. This report can also form the basis for a source of information on the current physical conditions of Koshlong Lake and as a baseline to compare future surveys against.
Although each property owner is eligible to receive a CONFIDENTIAL copy of their personal property survey results at NO CHARGE, the results presented here are representative of the aggregate observations made on Koshlong Lake as a whole during the survey period.
