Welcome to beautiful Koshlong Lake,
jewel of the Haliburton Highlands!

Koshlong Lake is a spring-fed lake located in the Haliburton Highlands. There are now 220 shoreline properties shared among seasonal and year-round residents; over half of the shoreline remains undeveloped. Koshlong is located within traditional lands of many First Nations and is part of the Williams Treaty territory. Loons, mergansers, herons and other waterfowl make their seasonal homes on Koshlong, moose and deer graze in the area, and anglers will find trout, bass, perch and more.

This website is the online home of the Koshlong Lake Association (KLA), a volunteer organization representing 200+ member-households. We serve cottagers, visitors and the natural environment through social, political and environmental activities and education. Learn more about our work, and please join us in treasuring this special place!

What's New On Koshlong Lake

For spring 2023, we have an updated map to share! The map now includes topography and approximate depths, all cottage roads, water hazard buoy locations, fire box locations, and new names for the smaller bays and inlets, chosen by members. It is not intended to be used for navigational purposes. Each cottage received a laminated copy, but you can download and print your own at home.

We have many fun events planned the 2023 season -- registrations will open a few weeks before each one.

Please browse this site to find everything you need to protect your safety, preserve the health of our lake, and to create an online hub for the Koshlong community, and contact our webmaster if you have feedback on the site or suggestions for content to include.
